People Reading Weird Books

I don't always read weird books but often steer clear of basic/mainstream. No Colleen Hoover for me. Currently re-reading Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole, When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi, and looking forward to perhaps reading The Martian by Andy Weir soon, because I loved Project Hail Mary.
I am hoping to gauge interest in whether some Southport and Oak Island locals might be interested in joining me one Saturday a month for book discussion with coffee. If this book club garners interest and the group prefers to meet on Sundays rather than Saturdays, we will make that adjustment.

Because of the extreme times we are living in, for those still supporting Trump/ICE, you are not invited to this book club.
