YASM's 2025 Annual Riverfront Clean-Up (now in our 3rd year!)

Want to lend a helping hand on Sunday, September 14th to help beautify the community?

Now in our 3rd year, let's give back to the City of East Peoria and the Illinois River by cleaning up trash, waste, and removing harmful items from our beautiful riverfront.

Meet us at the Target East Peoria parking lot (by Panera Bread) and bring a bucket and gloves if you have some.

We will rendezvous and split up into groups at 12pm sharp, and finish our sort of plastic, aluminum cans, and other waste items around 4pm. I will either bring the items to a local recycling center or work with the City of East Peoria to get the plastics and cans recycled.

We sincerely thank the City of East Peoria, WMBD News, and our local Universities for their help in spreading the word about our clean-up events.
