The Perth Web Accessibility Camp is back for 2024! A favourite in the calendar for many accessibility minded people in Perth. This fantastic one-day event is your chance to learn and share about web accessibility in a casual environment. This year we are proud to be partnering with W3C Australian Western Region Chapter and we’d love you to be a part of it.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Do you have some great accessibility information that you’d like to share at the Camp, either in person or online? If so, please submit your presentation idea. Presentations should be no more than 25 minutes for full presentations. Shorter presentations are welcome too. The term ‘presentation’ is very broad – it can be a formal presentation, chat, panel discussion, demo, something you found interesting related to disability and technology that you just want to talk about or something completely different – it’s all up to you.
To submit your presentation, just send an e-mail to [scott.hollier@accessibility.org.au](mailto:scott.hollier@accessibility.org.au) with the following information
• Topic title
• Name of presenter(s)
• Organisation/affiliation (if applicable)
• A short description of your topic, no more than 50 words
• A short description of presenter(s), no more than 50 words
• Presentation facilities required: in-person or online
Please submit your ideas by COB Monday 29 January.
GREAT DEBATE XI: SEEKING PARTICIPANTS
This year we celebrate our 11th Great Debate and we’d love to have you involved. As we’re holding the event on the 29th February, we’re asking the question ‘Accessibility audits should only happen once every leap year’.~~’~~ Do you believe this to be true? Do you strongly disagree with this statement? Do you just enjoy a good three-minute rant? We’re looking for people to join both the affirmative and negative teams so if you are interested, please e-mail [scott.hollier@accessibility.org.au](mailto:scott.hollier@accessibility.org.au).
Thanks everyone,
Scott on behalf of the Perth Web Accessibility Conference Committee: Amanda, David, Scott, Vithya, Claudia and Julie
