Laravel Perth: Community Build & Hack Day - June 2025 🚀

Come Build With Us!
Whether you’ve got a web app idea you want to bring to life, are keen to collaborate on a community-driven build, or just need a space to hack away on your own project, this is the place to be. The goal is to foster shared experiences and have a safe place to grow and learn no matter what level you are currently at.

During the session/s:
✅ We encourage members to pitch ideas and work with one another on projects
✅ Work on personal or community Laravel project/s – solo or in teams
✅ Connect, learn, and share knowledge with other developers.
✅ Longer half-day session that you are free to drop in/out of at your convenience.

Why This Matters
We want this to be a welcoming space for everyone, from juniors just starting out to senior developers looking to give back to the community. Whether you’re learning the ropes or have years of experience, this is an opportunity to collaborate, mentor, and grow together. For juniors, it’s a chance to gain real-world experience, work alongside experienced devs, and get guidance on best practices. For seniors, it’s a way to share knowledge, support the next generation, and contribute to something meaningful (or a place to simply have focus time to get stuck into your side projects).

By building together, we strengthen Perth’s developer community, creating opportunities for learning, networking, and innovation. Let’s create something that benefits not just us but the wider community.

Important Notes
🔹 Limited to 20 spots – RSVPing is essential!
🔹 BYO laptop/device – Each station (16 in total) has a dual monitor setup connected via a Targis dock (USB Connection/Power).
🔹 BYO keyboard/mouse (optional) – Plug in and get straight to work!
🔹 Food & drinks – There are plenty of great food spots in Subiaco.
🔹 Transport/Parking - We are a 3-minute walk from Subiaco train station or else there is parking available via Outridge Crescent.
