In October, Support for Windows 10 will be ending. That means millions of old laptops across the country will slowly become unusable.
We find it deeply unfair that you need new electronics every few years when all you want to do is write a document and surf the web .
I think we can change that.
This presentation will explain what an Operating System is, its relation to hardware, and how to use this knowledge to save your laptops from E-waste.
We are a not-for-profit organisation with the aim to promote Open Source Software. We want the people of Perth to learn about all the free digital tools out there.
