Topic 1 — Microsoft Fabric Rayfin: a code-first backend for the agentic era
Announced at Microsoft Build 2026, Rayfin is a code-first, managed backend-as-a-service for building agentic apps, delivered via Microsoft Fabric. It's an open-source SDK and CLI that lets developers and coding agents define and deploy a complete application backend in code — database, authentication, business logic, APIs, identity, and access policies, and ship it directly to Fabric. Because it deploys onto Fabric, application data lands directly in OneLake, where it is immediately available to the full Fabric data stack, inheriting the platform's governance, security, and compliance by default. Sergio will unpack what Rayfin is, why Microsoft built it, and what it means for how developers and agents build enterprise-grade apps.

Topic 2 — Inside the "Azure Master Architect" program: a capstone, end-to-end
Sergio will share his experience completing the capstone project for an internal "Azure Master Architect" initiative at Microsoft, a program in which he placed in the top 5 out of more than 50 architects across Asia. He'll walk through the program itself, the process he followed to design and develop his solution, and finish with a live demo.
