Microsoft Fabric IQ in Action + Data & AI Highlights from Build & FabCon 2026

Agenda:
Time: 5:15pm-5.30pm
Title: Modelling Patient Flow with Microsoft Fabric IQ
In this session, I'll share a real-world health use case: a specialist's leave is approved, their clinic sessions disappear, and every booked patient still has to be seen before their referral's threshold date. Today, outpatient teams reschedule these appointments by hand. I'll show how Fabric IQ connects doctors, rosters, leave, referrals and appointments in one ontology. A data agent then calculates the impact and ranks rescheduling options, such as another specialist or telehealth for a coordinator to approve.
