**✍🏼What to expect:** Bird-watching ([eBird list](https://ebird.org/hotspot/L1120415/bird-list?yr=curM&ref=kims-njadventures.com)) and nature journalling as part of the [Aussie Backyard Bird Count](https://aussiebirdcount.org.au/?ref=kims-njadventures.com). There is a 1.3 km loop around the bird sanctuary that we can walk while doing a bird count and nature journal what we find. Kim will demonstrate the basics and share her journal and techniques or you can focus on personal journalling time. At the end you can share your page and learn from others.

***All skill levels are welcome.*** *Children must be supervised at all times. Please **register** if you plan to attend.*

**📖What to bring:** A journal and your favourite mark-making tools as well as binoculars if you have them. Some good walking shoes, a water bottle and maybe a snack. Remember to slip-slop-slap-wrap if the sun's out, or an umbrella and raincoat if there's a chance of rain.

**Cost:** This is a pay-what-you-feel event.
