Summer Birding at John Heinz Wildlife Refuge

The threat of snow made our first Meetup in February sparsely attended, so I figured we’d try it again! John Heinz is one of my favorite birdwatching spots in the Philadelphia area. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just getting started, this is a great spot. Bring your binoculars and water (very little shade, so it can get hot) and let’s go birding! Trails are flat and easy, but gravel and not paved.
