Indie RPG Night

Details
WHAT IS THIS EVENT? At Indie RPG Night we gather to play story games and independent role-playing games (RPGs). These games are similar to role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) but tend to be simpler to learn, and have more shared narrative control for all players.
WHERE AND WHEN IS THE EVENT? We play at BUBS, 102 W Berks (next to the Berks MFL station). We plan to meet up starting at 6:30 pm, and pitch games promptly at 7 pm. The venue closes at 10 pm. Games tend to normally last 2-4 hours. Note that BUBS requires a $10 cover fee that you pay directly to them.
WHO IS THIS FOR? Any experience level is welcome, with no prior knowledge required. Almost all games are meant to be played in a single night (sometimes called one-shots). Occasionally we may create events for multi-session games, but these will be advertised as such (and even then drop-ins may be allowed).
WHAT GAMES DO WE PLAY? We play tabletop role-playing games that allow us to work together to tell a good story. Some games have a game master (GM), some are GM-less, but generally we like games that share narrative authority amongst players. We play some more popular systems, like Powered By the Apocalypse games, as well as obscure games from zines. Some examples include:
For The Queen
The Quiet Year
Brindlewood Bay
CBR+PNK
Revolt!
Mouse Guard
Border Riding
HOW DO I ATTEND? If you plan on attending, please RSVP here! You should not need to bring anything with you, however always feel free to bring writing utensils, dice, note cards, and so on.
HOW CAN I RUN A GAME? If you'd like to run a game, feel free come talk to me at the start of the event. At 7, we'll pitch games and anyone who's interested can join each group. Please bring any materials needed to play: rules, printouts, notecards or blank paper, tokens, printouts, and so on.
WHAT ARE THE RULES? We try to provide an inclusive space, and do not tolerate harassment or prejudice of any kind, including that based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or disabilities. We use the X-card and other RPG communication and safety tools.
