Let's Ride to The Granite Reef Dam

Let's RIDE the canal road (unpaved/forest road) to the Granite Reef Dam and back.
Starting at the Park of the Canals in Mesa we will ride about 11 miles in each direction at a casual pace to enjoy the ride. While some do, you can ride a skinny tire bike, but I would not advise doing that. Preferably a bike with a wider tires and maybe some suspension. I will ride a mountain bike for the comfort and stability.
There will be three or four easy road crossings.
When we get to the dam we will go about a half mile further into the park for a brief rest and to use the facilities if necessary.
Then we will head back the way we came to the Park of the Canals.
About 2 1/2 hours total.
