Monarch Butterflies Roost in San Clemente

The Monarch Butterfly migration will return to San Clemente State Park in October 2025. This is a great opportunity to get a lot of great butterfly shots as they roost in the tree.
You will want to bring a 24-70mm and a 70-200mm lens.
We will provide updates as it gets closes to October.
The event time will be during the day and the time will be determined later.
You may want to camp in the park so make your reservations.
