Bellydance 2: Drills, Layers, & Zills
Experienced-beginner to Advanced
This course will discuss and apply specific timings, weight exchanges, and layering dynamics that will challenge and build students’ range of movement to express themselves! Students will break down each layer to the slowest possible speed to check in with posture, energy, and flow then speed up the movements gradually adding, or deleting elements. Zills work is expanded upon as well. Combos, taxim, and hoedown jam (call out with cymbal, jamila-esque style) “may” finish our classes! Expect a challenging warm up and blissful cool down.
