Life Day is a time-honored holiday observed by the Wookiees on their forested home planet Kashyyk. it celebrates the values and tenets of Wookiee culture, including family, joy, and harmony, involving a feast and journey to the Tree of Life.

Over time, many other cultures in the galaxy have adopted the traditions of Life Day. It remains particularly special to Wookiees, who have been known to cross the galaxy to return to Kashyyk for the festival.

With many Wookiees enslaved by the Empire or simply scattered across the stars, some find themselves marginalized and even starving. The Life Day bells that ring are the clanging chimes of doom. But tonight, thank the Force it's them instead of you...
