Pleasanton Pedalers

The Tuesday morning ride is be a bit longer and faster than our Thursday Social Ride. The route will change each week. Plan on 15 mph on the flats and 30-40 miles in length, approximately 1,000-1200 feet of climbing.

The ride will be limited to riders who have signed up for the ride in advance. Plan to leave promptly at the start time noted in the calendar event. Start time may be adjusted based on weather conditions. Please be sure to bring your helmet (REQUIRED), water, spare tube(s) with pump/CO2, some food, and a willingness to push yourself a little further. No SAG cars provided.

Weather looks really good for the Oct 2 ride --->temps in the 70s.
**ROUTE---> possible 'easy-peasy' ride on the Iron Horse Trail to Danville Peets. 30+/- miles. The only(!) climbing will be the bridges linking BART to Don Biddle Park...and the Bollinger Blvd crossing.

****October is a great month! There are multiple birthdays to be celebrated. The Pedalers have almost always recognized the importance of this Fall celebration with a special goblin/ghost/skeletal ride at the end of the month. It's not too soon to start planning on what you (and your bike) will wear on October 30. See pics below!

On October 19th, Habitat for Humanity will be hosting its Cycle of Hope. In preparation for this event our ride will preview a portion of the route. More will be announced midweek to those who have signed up for our ride this week. There will be a no-host lunch following the ride for anyone who wishes to join us.
