DESCRIPTION: Let's meet for what could be an exquisite combination of walking, talking and music. Join for just the walk, join for just the concert, or BOTH!

" Classical Up Close is an annual festival of free concerts from the world-class musicians of the Oregon Symphony and their friends. Audience experience is friendly and relaxed; allowing for interactions with the musicians in a way no other concert series in Portland offers. There are no tickets for these concerts, and seating is first-come first-seated. Bring your family and friends — and expect the unexpected as you enjoy free world-class classical concerts!"

Check out the programs here.

These concerts are pretty casual and popular. I've been to these concerts with some of you before, and hope to see you again, whether or not you join the walk portion. We may or may not find seats all together.
