Join us for a discussion on the development of the NSW Marine Estate Community Wellbeing Dashboard, an interactive Power BI reporting solution designed to communicate how coastal and marine environments contribute to community wellbeing. Learn how over 8,300 survey responses were transformed into an accessible, user-friendly experience that supports evidence-based decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and stewardship of the NSW marine estate. We'll explore the design approach, accessibility considerations, and lessons learned in turning complex social, cultural, and economic data into meaningful insights. Sam Pateman works for the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development as Manager Marine Estate Community Wellbeing. She has played a key role in the NSW marine estate community wellbeing surveys and led the dashboard project, a core communication tool that provides a modern, easy-to-access single point of truth for audiences.
