Deep dive into the DCCEEW Biodiversity Indicator Program Power BI Report

Details
Session summary:
This session will talk about the innovative Power BI techniques used to create the DCCEEW (NSW State Government) Biodiversity Indicator Program (BIP) Power BI Report (available HERE).
From an environmental perspective, the tool reports on the state and trends of biodiversity and ecological integrity across key areas in NSW. From a Power BI perspective, it combines a range of techniques such as:
✅ Dynamic titles, dynamic text and key metrics
✅ Mapping including leveraging NSW web mapping service for displaying high-res state vegetation maps
✅ Clever use of conditional formatting
Come and hear about how to implement these tips & tricks from report author Alice Drummond. Note that this will be delivered at an intermediate to advanced Power BI level.
