Practical Tarot presents - The Symbolic language of Birds

Important: You are required to bring in a picture of a bird that you feel represents who you are, or a bird you feel connected too, please make sure you bring it in a sealed envelope.
This week at Practical Tarot we will allow ourselves to be inspired by the 17th card of the Major Arcana the Star.
Twinkle, twinkle little star.... When we look up at the sky at night we are hopefully lucky enough to see the stars shining down on us, The stars can inspire our dreams our hopes and wishes and can guide us. However when we look up at the heavens in the daytime unfortunately we don't the ability to see the stars with our human eye; however we might see something else which may equally give us guidance...
For many centuries there has been much symbolism and folklore surrounding birds, Not only were birds used by man to be our celestial postman but their characteristics, movement and behavior has been observed and provided us with information of things to come. Cultures all around the world have symbolically recognized birds as being important messengers and signs from the universe. The higher perspective that birds often have, their adaptability to soar in the air, to be in water, to run on land. Birds have long been recognized as being messengers from the gods. So this week we will take inspiration from these magical beings to connect with each other. So... bring a picture of a bird that you feel represents you or feel connected too and join us for a fun informative class where we will discover the magical symbolic language of birds.
