A "Cool" hike in the woods

Details
This hike is about 5.6 miles, with an average elevation gain of about 700 feet, but there are several "ups and downs" so you'll definitely get a workout on this hike! It's mostly through forest terrain, although there are some exposed areas at the higher elevations.
We will start from Aspen Creek parking area, on Copper Basin Road. The trail will comprise of trails 393, 327, 744 (Sparrow), 264, 741 (Quakey) and 48. Going in this direction we'll get most of the climbing done early before it gets warm.
Directions to Aspen Creek: From downtown Prescott take Montezuma/Hwy89 south and just past the Safeway Market, turn right onto Copper Basin Road. Follow Copper Basin for about 4.5 miles (the last 2 miles becomes dirt road which is in good condition), and turn right into the Aspen Creek parking area. Parking is free.
