A easy to moderate hike that includes a total elevation of 550 meters that will take us to Flinders Peak, the highest point in the park with great views out to Melbourne & Geelong.

The You Yangs are not far from the western outskirts of Melbourne and is one of those delightful places that’s surprisingly close to the city and yet at times can feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Full of wildlife including birds (hopefully wedge tail eagles) , wallabies, echidnas, and if you are lucky a Koala or two.
Great diverse scenery with a mixture of woodlands and the fascinating granite boulders makes for a great days hike.
