We’ll meet for drinks in the cosy indoor “Biergarten” at Kartoffel from 2pm so you have the chance to meet and mingle with other internationals. Our event hosts will be there to welcome you. Then at 3pm we’ll watch Mad Cow Comedy’s International Showcase!

**Comedy!**
Mad Cow Comedy hosts an afternoon of stand-up comedy performed by various high-quality, international acts, all performing in English. Utrecht-based comedian, Rachel Morton-Young, introduces a different mix of comedians every 2 weeks, so no two shows are ever the same.
We recommend you purchase a ticket in advance (link above), although it is possible to buy on the door (card only).

**Food!**
Our venue, Kartoffel is a German-themed restaurant and has great, affordable food, so considering coming early for lunch, or staying for a bite after the show (not included in the ticket price).

**Stylophobia**
Armed with a stylophone and razor-sharp wit, Stylophobia delivers musical comedy that’s as nostalgic as it is hilariously unexpected—finalist of the Old Comedian of the Year and utterly one-of-a-kind.

**Brittney Malpeli**
Aussie comic Brittney Malpeli brings bold energy and cheeky insights on expat life, relationships, and Dutch quirks—especially their obsession with Tikkie. With a love for the absurd and a “laugh with or at me” attitude, she’s fast becoming one to watch.

**Mel Byron**
With razor-sharp observations and a warm, self-deprecating style, Mel Byron charms audiences across the UK and beyond—think batty banter, middle-aged mischief, and a masterclass in crowd work.

**Rachel Morton-Young (Host)**: Award-winning British comedian Rachel brings warmth, wit, and hilarity to the stage, sharing her chaotic yet charming life as an expat Mum in the Netherlands. Rachel is a regular on the in the English-speaking comedy scene in the Netherlands and the owner of Mad Cow Comedy.
