**What is BSides?**
Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events by and for information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

Security BSides is the first grass roots, DIY, open security conference in the world! Security BSides is a great combination of two event styles: structured anchor events and grass-roots geocentric events. BSides is where we can have conversations within a community that cares less about building ego and more about building careers and a true common body of knowledge, experience and wisdom. It is an international conference that takes place in multiple cities through out the year.

Spouses, friends, family, etc. are welcome. Please let me know if you are bringing additional people. The tasting tour reservation is for 30. I will give the venue final head count closer to the date.

We plan to have tastings at the tour as a group around 2:30. This should give everyone time to travel as well as find parking! After the tasting tour is over (Usually 1-1.5 hours), we will go upstairs to the roof top restaurant area! This is first come, first serve seating, so we will put together tables or sit in the couch area on the roof. If it rains, there is limited indoor seating.

Night of Lights will be going on. If you would like, we can do what we did last year and a group of us can go around 6ish. They do a group discount. I believe we have to order online. Closer to the event we can look and see about planning this.
