Join in a walk to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research! Hear inspiring tales of survivors and their family members before the walk actaully begins around 9am.
For the Star Trek Fans in this group - which I hope are a MAJORITY - if you don't know, Pancreatic Cancer has touched many of the stars. Armin Shimmerman (Quark)'s wife is a survivor; Jonathan Frakes brother Daniel passed away from it at a young age...

When you register for this event, PLEASE, instead of joining as an individual - choose JOIN A TEAM, and join the TREKKIES AGAINST CANCER team! This will be our 4th year doing it! Hope to see a good turnout this year!

Anthem Hills Park

'HOLI' is a COLORFUL festival in the Indian tradition, celebrating the spring season. Come enjoy chanting, vegetarian Indian food, dj's, popular Indian music, yoga workshops, and the throwing of COLORS at various times throughout the event. 'Colors' are bags of mostly cornstarch and color. It is reccomended to wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty!

If you are truly interested in exploring 'strange new worlds' this event is a great place to start!

Join the community of Skye Canyon and members of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society for an evening of food trucks, lawn games, and stargazing! Food trucks, music, and lawn games kick off at 6:00p, followed by telescope viewing with members of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society at 8:00pm! Previous events have also had drawings to win a telescope - these drawings have always been 'cash only', so come prepared!
