Golfing LA and OC

Final time at Wilson GC for 2026 (prepaid $93)

Thinking about an ADU? Join our free Zoom webinar on the new laws, building, and financing. Thursday, Oct 22, 7 PM PT.
ADUs are everywhere right now, and the rules around them keep changing. If you've ever looked at your backyard, garage, or side yard and wondered, "could that be a whole other living space?", this one's for you.
In one hour, we'll walk through the basics and the stuff people usually find out too late.
**What we'll cover**

* What an ADU actually is, and the different types
* The newer laws and regulations that affect what you can build
* How the custom ADU building process works, from the first consultation to move-in
* Ways homeowners commonly pay for an ADU, like a HELOC, a second mortgage, a cash-out refinance, renovation loans, and more
* How to look at your own home and figure out its ADU potential
* Live Q&A, so bring your questions

**Who's speaking**
David Sanchez and Kimberly Smith of Living CA Realty will cover the real estate side. Ulysses Carmona, a general contractor who builds custom ADUs, will cover the building side. Kirk Saylin of NEXA Mortgage, a Long Beach lender, will cover financing.
**Who this is for**
Homeowners in Long Beach, LA County, and Orange County who are curious about an ADU for family, guests, a home office, or rental income. You don't need to be ready to build. Plenty of people just want to understand their options first.
**Good to know**
The webinar is free and runs on Zoom. Register and you'll get the link.
Hope to see you there!

**Tired of swiping?** Put the phone down and meet someone in real life. No apps, no pressure, just good people and easy conversation.

Whether you come solo, bring your best friend, or drag your married friend along as your hype person, this is a night designed to make meeting new people feel easy.

We're hosting a Singles Happy Hour & Mixer on **Friday, November 6th from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM** at my friend's restaurant/bar, Let's Yolk About It in Belmont Shore. Come when you can. We'll be there starting at 6:00 PM. Follow them on IG [@LetsYolkAboutIt](https://www.instagram.com/letsyolkaboutit/).

This is a great local restaurant that deserves a strong turnout from our community. If you haven't tried it yet, this is the perfect excuse. Their grilled cheese and tomato soup is my personal favorite, and the full bar is led by locally known mixologist Joseline. Ask her to create something special for you and let her take care of the rest.

**How the Red Wristbands Work:**

* Single? Just walk in and mingle. No sign-up, no pressure.
* Married, taken, or here to support a friend? You are absolutely welcome. Grab a red wristband at the door so everyone knows you're here as a hype person and not on the hunt.

And if you're the friend who always says "you should talk to that person," this is your night. Bring your single friend, be their best hype person, and help them find someone fun to talk to or maybe even the love of their life.

**What This Event Is About:**

* Meeting new people in a relaxed setting
* Easy conversations
* Making new friends and maybe a connection
* Supporting a local Long Beach business
* Growing our community

Come solo.
Bring a friend.
Bring your hype person.
All singles are welcome.

No formal agenda. No awkward icebreakers required. Just a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
Please RSVP so we can provide an accurate headcount.

**Parking**
There is plenty of free street parking around the venue, and additional parking is available in the lot behind the building. You may need to walk a block or two, but at this time of evening it is usually manageable.

**Please Drink Responsibly**
Please enjoy responsibly and plan a safe ride home. Rideshare or a designated driver are great options.

You can't miss us, but if you have any questions, please call or text me at **562-537-9206**.

See you then!
