This is my very first weekend event I will be hosting as your new organizerup!

For this, I'm bringing back an recurring event from Marcos's meetups: the Hudson River Park/High Line loop walk.

We will begin by walking west along 34th Street, passing by Javits Center, and entering the park at 12th Avenue; from there we'll walk straight along the Hudson River Greenway, traversing past Little Island until we reach the Gansevoort Peninsula where we will stop to rest for 15 minutes. Following that, we will walk onto the High Line from Gansevoort Street to Hudson Yards, where our journey will end; from there you can choose to disembark from the rest of us for the 7 train or walk back to 8th Ave/Penn/MSG area. The choice is yours.

This Meetup event will be limited to 6 people max; if you RSVP and change your mind, please kindly change your RSVP status, so that the next person on the waitlist can attend. RSVPs close at 6pm on Friday July 18th.

Walk Along The Hudson River + High Line

Let's walk and meander through Forest Hills Gardens, a private enclave within the larger neighborhood of Forest Hills, with its Tudor-style townhouses, apartment buildings, and manicured gardens.

We'll meet outside the Forest Hills/71st Avenue station at 2:00 pm; approx. 10 minutes later, we'll begin walking to Station Square and circling along Burns Avenue, eventually travelling along Greenway South and Tennis Place to the West Side Tennis Club/Stadium area (where the US Open was originally contested), concluding our walk from there.

Afterwards, we can walk to the newly opened Forest Hills Pizzeria (at 9 Station Square, across from LIRR), have a bite to eat, and then say our farewells.

**KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:**
There is no public parking at Forest Hills Gardens, and the roads surrounding Forest Hills Stadium will be closed off due to event taking place that evening.
