**Overall Objective:** To formally launch the group, establish our evidence-based philosophy, and generate excitement for our first official investigation.

A fun event sponsored by the Historic Jefferson Ghost Walk Tour that takes place every Spring. There are vendors with booths full of paranormal-related equipment, information, books, and merchandise. Guest speakers will be addressing paranormal topics throughout the day. Meet other people interested in the paranormal. The ghost walk tours haunted locations around this historic city.

Jefferson, Texas, proudly bills itself as "The Most Haunted Small Town in Texas," with a history rooted in its boom-and-bust era as a 19th-century river port. The town's paranormal reputation is centered on its well-preserved antebellum structures, especially the **Excelsior House Hotel**, the **Jefferson Hotel** (formerly a cotton warehouse and brothel), and the infamous **Grove** mansion. These locations are rife with tales of residual and intelligent hauntings, including phantom children, ladies in white, disembodied footsteps, objects moving on their own, and the restless spirit of a man said to have been killed during the violent post-Civil War "Stockade Case," making it a destination for historians and ghost hunters alike.
