Join us for light refreshments, socializing and meditation practice.

Queer Dharma Meditation Group is an open community of meditation practitioners led by and for LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex) individuals and their friends.

Basic meditation instruction will be offered as well as short readings, contemplations and group discussion. On occasion, guest teachers will offer talks about how the practice of meditation can help us within the context of our identities as gays, lesbians, bisexuals, trans, intersex, questioning, and gender queer individuals, and how we can incorporate practice into our everyday lives and personal experiences. Some people might like to continue to socialize over dinner and/or drinks afterwards. See you there!

All are welcome regardless of experience, spiritual tradition, age, gender, sexual identity or finances.

**Caring for someone approaching the end of their life is different from caring for someone who is recovering. Unfortunately, most people are unaware of this.**

That is why **Barbara Karnes, RN**, created a multi-award-winning film, *New Rules For End of Life Care*, providing people with new and real-world perspectives on how to care for their loved one at the end of their life.

**For the past 40 years**, hospice pioneer Barbara has offered compassionate end-of-life education designed to guide families and professionals through the final stages of life.

In this session of '*Before I Die,*' we will watch and contemplate this powerful film, allowing participants sufficient time to discuss it afterward.

**Whether the patient is at home, in a nursing home, or in a hospital, this kit will give the family valuable information they need to understand the dying process.**

Join the Shambhala community for in-person mindfulness meditation! Both beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome.

Sessions will open with a few brief chants (in English). There will be periods of silent sitting meditation alternating with walking meditation. All are warmly welcome!

Meditation instruction will be available. People are welcome to arrive and leave to suit their schedule. There is ample parking and outdoor space.

***Our group meets every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This is a free offering. Donations are warmly welcomed!***

Join us for our last meeting before Young Meditators Group goes on hiatus. We will be joined by special guest Jon Barbieri, a senior teacher in the Shambhala lineage.

The Young Meditators Group is a gathering of young people in their 20s and 30s interested in exploring the path of meditation in a supportive and engaging setting. We gather to foster camaraderie, meditate, learn together, and support each other on and off the cushion so we may engage with our world with confidence and authenticity.

All are welcome! No prior meditation experience is necessary. We provide oral group meditation instructions at the beginning of every session. Feel free to bring a friend :)
