In Wicca and other Neo-Pagan traditions the "Wheel of the Year" is central. Eight yearly festivals that echo the seasonal rites of our ancestors.

Join us for this season's festival, held (unless otherwise noted) in the Wiccan style:

In Wicca, Samhain is among the most potent festivals of the Wheel of the Year, marking the turning toward the darker half of the seasonal cycle and serving as a time when the veil between the worlds is thinnest. Samhain is not necessarily the “Wiccan New Year,” (although for many Wiccans it is) but a sacred moment when communities come together to honor ancestors, reflect on the harvest’s end, and open themselves to communion with the spirits of the dead. Within its ritual frame, practitioners often invite ancestral presences, hold space for memory and transformation, and deepen their relationship to both mortality and mystery — seeing death not as an endpoint, but as a threshold in the unfolding of the spirit.

**The event and the ritual will be held in English** unless otherwise noted. We sometimes do have other groups host rituals, and sometimes they work in other languages. If that is the case it will be noted here.

Doors open at 19:00. Ritual will start at 20:00 or so. Afterwords there will be time for socializing and merrymaking. There is an open bar on-site. :-)

Attire: Street clothes are fine but try to come dressed as much as possible in a single colour- black and white are best. If you have ritual attire (robes etc.) and would like to wear them feel free.

Beginners and experienced practioners alike, as well as the merely curious are welcomed. We will explain everything you need to do before the ritual- it's possible (and completely fine) to jump right in.

The environment is friendly and welcoming and newcomers are welcomed!

Die Stammtische finden in der Regel am 2. Dienstag jedes Monats statt. Manchmal gibt es Ausnahmen, abhängig von anderen Veranstaltungen, daher schaut unbedingt hier auf Meetup vorbei- oder am Facebook bei [https://www.facebook.com/groups/271329456233561](https://www.facebook.com/groups/271329456233561) um die genauen Informationen zu erhalten.

Alle sind willkommen – erfahrene Praktizierende, Anfänger, Neugierige, Heiden und Heiden-Interessierte, Praktizierende ähnlicher Traditionen, und sogar diejenigen, die keine Ahnung haben, warum sie kommen möchten, aber einfach das Bedürfnis verspüren. Auch willkommen sind alle, die zwar nichts über Heidentum wissen, aber Harry Potter und Herr der Ringe und Ähnliches mögen. :-)

**Das Thema dieses Monats wird bald bekannt gegeben – schaut regelmäßig vorbei!**

**Ablauf des Abends:**
18:00–19:00: Treffen, Zeit zum Essen und Sozialisieren
19:00–20:00: Vortrag und Diskussion
20:00–Offene Diskussion und weiteres Beisammensein – esst, trinkt und seid fröhlich!

Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.

Das Beisl ist traditionell österreichisch und akzeptiert keine Karten – also denkt daran, Bargeld mitzubringen!

All are welcome- experienced practioners, newbies, merely curious, Wiccans and Wiccan-curious and practitioners of similar traditions and those who have no idea why they want to come but just do and even those who don't know a thing but simply like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and suchlike... :-)
