Jes Simson makes greeting cards. Yes, those physical tactile things you receive on your birthday (& possibly other holidays!).

Launching over 1,000 products each year, Jes has taken ideas from the digital space to help prototype and now she's going to share the opposite - prototyping lessons for digital products from the physical world.

We'll hear how Simson Cards uses lean methodologies & prototypes their products. Jes will also share how tips & lessons on prototyping before we all get into an activity to prototype something from the future.

Jes Simson (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jessimson/) is a product manager at Simson Cards, where she’s lucky enough to spend her days making things, diving deep into data, and writing the occasional pithy one-liner.

She is a board member of Art Education Victoria, a not-for-profit that helps Victorian art teachers be the best that they can be, where she helps ensure that their products meet the needs of busy art teachers. She’s also helped hundreds of students build their design thinking skills as a mentor on IDEO’s online learning platform IDEO U.
