Every product is different: B2B, B2C, internal enterprise tools, different markets and technologies, and on the list goes. Some things are constant in product, though: the need to be empathetic, the importance of disciplined action, the magic of storytelling, the empowerment of transparency and, of course, the benefits of good planning.

In this talk Adam Mullett will take you through the thoughts that go through his mind when he is building a product. Far from knowing the answers, the importance of knowing the questions to ask helps you and your team get to a right answer. With practical take-aways for any product person, this talk will give you renewed energy and help you bring a refreshed approach to your product making.

Adam Mullett has always been a maker, long before he learned about the term ‘Product’. Experiences across several industries and jobs has given him an insight into what works and how to lead the way in building products that get adopted and change the way we do things. Having recently published his book From “No” to “How?”: Get Buy-in and Lead Change, he works at IBM in their Garage practice, helping new Product Owners lead the way in their enterprise transformations through Enterprise Design Thinking, Agile and Product Management.
