Mugii Murum-ban - Valley of The Dinosaurs (one night camping - optional)

Mugii Murum-ban State Conservation Area is north of Lithgow, north-east of Capertee and south-east of Mudgee. The park is 3,650 hectares in area and is bounded to the south by the Glen Davis Road and Gardens of Stone National Park, and to the north by Capertee National Park.

We will meet on Saturday evening at the Airy Gap Campground, relaxing evening around campfire and in the morning after breakfast we pack up our camp and move towards to start of our track.

We start our hiking from there (Genowlan Summit Trek) and spend the day exploring the area.

What to bring: comfortable warm clothing, hiking shoes / boot. Food for the day and plenty of water - 3L min. Personal first aid kit. If you are camping - drive in campsite, don't forget your camping gear - tent, mat, sleeping bag, head torch, cooking stove and dishes, camping chair if you have, food for dinner and breakfast.

Fee $25 per person / or $20 early bird if you book by Wednesday - it covers some of our expenses with running this meetup group. RSVP only if you're serious about coming. No refunds unless the event is canceled by Project Fit Trekker. Doesn't cover your campground fee. Book through the link above.
