Lulada Club, NYC’s premier all-women salsa group, presents a bold 17-member Latin Big Band dance show that reimagines classic salsa with an empowering twist. Led by two queer, Colombian-American women, Andrea Chavarro and Katherine Ocampo, Lulada transplants the shimmer and excitement of Cali Colombia salsa straight to the heart of NYC with all the grandeur of a traditional big band. One of the genre's rare all-women orchestras, Lulada's electrifying energy showcases their virtuosic musicianship while celebrating the vibrant essence of Latin culture. Vocalist Chavarro leads the ensemble in a set of music hailing from across the Latin American diaspora. More than just a performance, Lulada Club inspires younger generations by fostering pride within the Latine community. Bring your dancing shoes and learn some simple salsa steps before the show, then get ready to cut loose.Location:
