What we’re about
Are you interested in exploring topics such as science, reason, ethics, and philosophy from a secular perspective? Join the Pueblo Humanists Meetup group! We are a community of like-minded individuals who value free thinking and critical inquiry. Pueblo Humanists (PH) meets regularly twice a month and occasionally for other events.
Our monthly meeting is held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at Rawlings Library at 100 E. Abriendo Ave. in room Bret Kelly A to hear a speaker and participate in a Q&A/discussion afterward. The public is welcome and the venue is handicap accessible.
PH also hosts its monthly Freethought Friday social at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Friday of the month (whether there are four or five Fridays) at 110 Calla Ave., the building owned by First Unitarian Society of Pueblo, across from City Park off Goodnight Ave. to enjoy refreshments and conversation. Members and like-minded guests are welcome to bring snacks, soft drinks, or adult beverages to share. The building is handicap accessible.
Our group welcomes individuals from all backgrounds who seek to engage in thought-provoking discussions, attend educational events, and promote secular values in our community. Whether you are a lifelong skeptic or just beginning to question traditional beliefs, you will find a welcoming space to explore and grow with us. Join us to connect, learn, and share in the pursuit of knowledge and reason. **Contact us at pueblohumanists@gmail.com.**
