Slide Summit -Multicultural world music ($29)

Slide Summit was born out of the highly unlikely migration of two of the world’s top slide players to Perth. Sarod player Praashekh Borkar and pedal steel guitarist Lucky Oceans have won the highest music awards from their respective countries. Their repertoire covers Jazz, Blues, North African grooves, Indian Folk and Irish reels but it’s their boundless musical curiosity and desire to tell emotion filled stories in music that makes this new group truly exceptional. There’s nothing like this ensemble anywhere else in the world!

I'll aim to get there at 6:00 but it will depend on what time i get our of work. The concert starts at 7pm and i expect it to be two ~45 minute sets finishing around 9pm. Dinner options are mainly pizza and bar snacks (but they do have vegan and gluten free) and their well stocked bar offers interesting wines, fancy cocktails and some pretty decent non-alcoholic options.
