Marimo - A Primer in Reactive Notebooks
Marimo is a computational notebook that targets Python specifically. It was created in part to address some of the pain points of Jupyter. This talk introduces Marimo whether you're new to computational notebooks or come from Jupyter or other notebook environments. It'll also cover any widget for turning notebooks into dashboards and some of the agentic coding features Marimo supports.
Owen is a Principal Software Engineer at Optigrid with interests in data visualisation, machine learning, computer graphics, Python, and Rust.

Baby Steps - Exploring Micropython
Join Andrea Zonnekus as she explores Micropython for the first time, and rediscovers the joys of bits, hexadecimal, and LCDs.
Andrea is a Senior Software Engineer at Endava interested in anything related to computers!

A special thank you to our generous food, drink and hospitable venue sponsor Endava for making our October meetup possible ๐Ÿ™Œ
