Queer Lisbon: events and activities in the Lisbon Metro Area
Our group is open to any LGBTQ+ members and allies of the Portuguese and international community in the greater Lisbon Metropolitan area, from Cascais and Estoril to Setubal.
We are an inclusive group for people of every gender. We do not currently host gender specific events, but don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to give it a try, or if you have ideas for upcoming events you’d like to see in the future! 🙂
We organise regular friendly gatherings in Lisbon, Cascais and Setubal, as well as other activities like Sing-a-long, picnics or hikes in the region.

Come for the community, stay for the drinks and sing-along! Queer karaoke and inspiring conversations in a cozy, inclusive space. Come alone or bring a friend – you’ll always leave with a few more!
Free entry, drinks (alcoholic or booze-free) available at the bar for very reasonable prices.
Doors open at 6, karaoke from 7pm until 10pm. the venue closes at 11pm.
Aconchego House is a non-profit queer community center. This meetup group is not affiliated with them, but we support their vision. Are you a queer musician who wants to have fun, express yourself, and make some noise with your fellow queers? Then come join us for a jam at Camaleão!
Musicians of all skill levels and any instruments are welcome! The structure of the jam is flexible and improvisational, but we tend to use the jam as an opportunity to work with the songs we've written in our monthly Queer Songwriter's Workshops. If you haven't been to one of those yet, though, you're still more than welcome to jam with us!
Here are the items included in the jam room:
- Acoustic drums with cymbals
- 2 guitar amplifiers
- 1 bass amplifier
- Grand Room Piano: Yamaha acoustic upright
- Small Room Piano: 88-Key Digital Hammer
- PA's and analog mixing desk
- Dynamic microphones, cables and tripods
Please feel free to bring your own instruments and accessories.
We have the room booked for precise times, so if you want to take advantage of the full 2 hours, make sure you show up on time! That said, if you come around late, we'd still love to have you—just pop in and head downstairs and go to the room straight ahead.
Also, when you RSVP, please write what instruments you'll be playing in the comment section so we can make sure that we have all of our essential instruments covered.

We appreciate it if you're able to pay in advance! If you can only pay when you show up (whether with MBWay, bank transfer, cash, etc) then that's okay, but if the room runs out of space, we'll prioritize anybody who paid upfront.
