RNotebooks - the simple polyglot experience

Talk Outline:

A look at what the RNotebooks are capable of within RStudio - R, bash scripts, Python and having them play nicely together. We will walk through an ETL example using the best tools for the best jobs, whilst also leveraging R for what it's great at.

BIO:

Derek Slone-Zhen is currently a Senior Manager with one of the large consulting firms. He has worked extensively in software engineering, networking, data engineering, and data sharing with companies including IBM, Microsoft, Quantium, Data Republic, Seven West Media, NAB and Westpac. He has a love for systems integration, data choreography, data visualisation, and personal and organisational transformation.
