Exciting news! The Rabobank Tech Community is organizing a big Java event for our community. Dr. Venkat Subramaniam will speak at Rabobank in the evening of 11th of November.
Because of the limited number of seats, please keep your RSVP up-to-date, so we can welcome someone else of you can't make it.

Due to Rabobank security measures, we need to present in advance an attendee list with everyone’s full names. This is partly because Rabobank is, well, a bank, but also related to safety measures in case of an emergency. That is why we need to ask you the following:

Scaling Java Applications using Virtual Threads
Threads are lightweight, but do not scale well. That's one of the reasons we have been focused on the elastic capabilities on the cloud. Unfortunately that has an impact both on our environment and your company's budget. In this presentation we will learn how virtual threads reduce those impacts and help us to create scalable applications with minimum change to code.

Dr. Venkat Subramaniam is an award-winning author, founder of Agile Developer, Inc., an instructional professor at the University of Houston, and creator of dev2next conference.

He has trained and mentored thousands of software developers in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is a regularly-invited speaker at several international conferences. Venkat helps his clients effectively apply and succeed with sustainable agile practices on their software projects.
