After Work Hump Day Hikes

Like to hike, but don’t like doing it alone? Come on out for a brisk, intermediate ability hike with elevation changes—the perfect way to get some exercise incorporated into your day. Breathe deep, relax, and enjoy the weekly changes you observe as the season progresses. Inclement weather cancels. FREE — FRNC membership or donation suggested as it is led weekly by staff or volunteers at the nature center.

This is not a hike! Whether you have hiked with us or not, you might enjoy some of the photos taken by three of our hikers that are also great photographers.
The Rancocas Nature Center classroom will come alive with the color and natural beauty of the preserve. Join us as three local, talented photographers share what they have captured with their cameras during the seasons. Photos and the stories behind them will be presented via slide presentations. Photos will be on display and available for purchase—great holiday gifts. The program is free—a donation is suggested. Please Register, as space is limited in our classroom.

Enjoy the outdoors in the fall! Join a Rancocas teacher naturalist for an interpretive 1-hour guided stroll in the Rancocas Nature Preserve and Rancocas State Park’s meadows, streams/creek and woodlands. We’ll walk the easier trails (mostly flat ground with some roots) as we observe changes in the season. Program is free; Rancocas Nature Center membership or a donation is suggested. Register online for inclement weather cancels. Mary Belko will be leading this one.
