RNCK × App.js Conf: meetup #18
Details
This pre-conference meetup is for everyone: you don't need the conference ticket to come by!
The meet-up is sponsored by CodeRabbit.
As always, we're organizing the React Native Community Krakow meetup before the App.js Conf madness begins. Let's get together, have some pizza & beer, and listen to some insightful talks from the React Native devs.
Low-key but packed with builders' energy - don't miss it!
Agenda:
18:00 - 18:15
Kacper Kapuściak, Software Mansion
What's new in React Native
18:15 - 18:45
Aleks Volochnev, CodeRabbit
Drunk on AI speed
There is nothing wrong with the AI, but plenty is wrong with how it's used. Many got drunk on the speed at which an LLM solves just another LeetCode problem, and rushed to ship good-looking, bad-smelling features.
The processes are focused on humans; there is no agent-ready SDLC and no AI manifesto yet. In just a couple of years, we got a flying car but no flying traffic lights. No wonder bug reports are hitting record highs.
This is a talk about what happens when management thinks that just throwing agents to ship production code is a good idea, and what we engineers can do to regain the lost control.
18:45 - 19:00
Konrad Reczko, Software Mansion
TypeGPU on React Native: Why, When and How
19:00 - 19:30
Mark Goldstein, Chime
As AI agents enter mobile development, your app’s build and distribution infrastructure reveals itself as the next bottleneck. When changes take too long to validate, product velocity suffers. Learn how we optimized mobile delivery across both the native and JavaScript layers so engineers and agents alike can deliver faster.
