Why Aren't Churches Listening? (hosted by ISCAST)

Why, after more than 50 years of modern science-theology study and public science-faith discourse, are so many churches still not listening? What can we do about it? We'll look at what the problem might be, some success stories, and consider possible solutions towards getting the church and its message more aligned with science (without watering down the message!).
Discussion led by Peter Thomas. Peter is a recently retired geologist/ geophysicist - which all began with a love of dinosaurs. He studied at Cambridge and Durham in the UK, then a career in oil and gas took him around the globe until he settled in Perth. He is married with 3 adult kids, and attends Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He cycles, climbs, volunteers, and coordinates the Perth chapter of ISCAST.
