Estatoe Trail ..easy walk (Meeting Art Loeb Trail SOUTH parking lot)

Meet 10 AM Art Loeb South area parking lot off Highway 276 in Pisgah forest. . Turn left into Davidson River campground then left before the bridge. Mostly flat level wide path. 3 miles total..round trip ..(down and back) walk. The ALL TRAILS site shows elevation of 64 feet. Note:There will be bicycles and dogs are allowed too so keep an eye out for them while enjoying the trail. . We can also do the adjoining 'Exercise trail' as an option after lunch . The trail goes along the river and road and we will hear some traffic noise. You can always stop and turn around if you are not up to walking the whole distance. If you desire a more challenging trails you can do the Art Loeb section. Bring lunch to leave in your car and a chair so we can picnic afterwards along the river .
