👋 Renew Church OC hosts sports and fitness in the gym to hang out and create community around a common hobby

4:00 - 5:50PM BASKETBALL
8:10 - 10:00PM VOLLEYBALL - BEGINNERS
There is a 5$ asking fee for all gym sports
⛹️♂️ We kindly ask only people who are familiar with the game to join (rules, basic gameplay). This helps the flow of the games, keeps players safe, and also our leaders can enjoy their time too - without having to provide lessons/coaching throughout. Thank you for understanding!

We will be collecting a $5 fee. Please venmo @renewchurchoc1 and label it "Beginner Volleyball." Please come early and show payment day of.
Please come on time so we can maximize our session time.
🏐 BEGINNERS - We want to grow our skills and love for the game with friendly games :)
*Advanced players who we feel take from the experience or really impact the development & learning for others, we may ask to play elsewhere or in a setting that better fits them.
Rules:
1. Our participant’s safety is our first priority.
A. Do not step under the net during play.
B. Call “ball” when a ball rolls on to another court during games.
C. Treat others with kindness and respect. No foul language. We have a zero tolerance policy for bad behavior.
D. Setters get 2nd contact -in games- unless they call “help.”
2. Attendance: Only those listed as "going" can attend." Please familiarize yourself with Meetup and our rules.
A. If you are on the waitlist by Sunday or have not rsvped for the week please do not show up. You will not have a spot or a chance at a spot.
B. Participants who are on the "going" list are expected to show up. If you cannot make it please change your response to “not going” by 12pm the day of the event. Failure to do so will result in a 2 week ban.
C. Participants must show up on time
D. 6v6 games: 28 participants in total will be allowed to play; 4 teams of 7. From both Renew Church and Meetup sign ups.
E. Sign ups open the Monday prior at 12:00pm and close at 12:01pm.
3. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian during the entire session.
Basic volleyball skills/knowledge are highly encouraged.
