Experience this 4.8-mile out-and-back trail near Reno, Nevada. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 10 min to complete. This is a very popular area for horseback riding, mountain biking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Get to know this 7.3-mile loop trail near Truckee, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 54 min to complete.
We’ll meet at the Waddle Ranch Trailhead, 11645 Martis Dam Rd, Truckee, CA 96161. It’s a 37 minute drive from Reno to get to the trailhead.
For those of you who might be interested in car pooling up to the trailhead, we'll meet at 8:15 (we’ll need to leave shortly after that for the drive to the trailhead) by the IHOP and the Instant Smog on North McCarran Blvd (take Sierra Highlands Dr.) . If you are not interested in carpooling, show up at the IHOP and we can caravan to the trailhead.
