What we’re about
We meet the last Thursday of every month for book club, with occasional "field trips" to community performances, museum exhibits, ethnic restaurants or other local events. We read books across genres that explore issues of race, culture, gender, disability and other forms of "othering" in America as a means of educating, understanding, and seeking justice within Milwaukee and the larger community. If you're interested in experiencing other perspectives, exploring and challenging your own and society's views, and engaging in respectful dialogue we invite you to join the conversation!

See all- Everyone Who is Gone is Here, by Jonathon BlitzerHill Valley Dairy, Milwaukee, WI
Join us to discuss New York Times' bestseller Everyone Who is Gone is Here: The United States, Central America, and the Making of a Crisis, the "epic, heartbreaking, and deeply reported history of the disastrous humanitarian crisis at the southern border told through the lives of the migrants forced to risk everything and the policymakers who determine their fate," by writer Jonathan Blitzer.
We’ll meet at the Hill Valley Dairy location in Walker's Point, so come hungry for cheese, maybe some wine or a cocktail and good conversation. Parking in the area is largely on-street but there is a small pay lot on the corner of 2nd and Bruce as well. Hope to see you there!
