Invitation: 2026 RFR Australia & NZ Annual General Meeting
You are warmly invited to the Recovering from Religion Australia & New Zealand Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 18 January 2026 at 12:00pm AEDT.
Whether you are a volunteer, member, supporter, or simply curious about what we do, you are welcome to attend. This AGM is a chance to come together, re
flect on what has been achieved, and look ahead to what we are building next.
What to expect
At the meeting we will:
- Share an update on the work of RFR Australia & New Zealand to date
- Reflect on the history of the organisation and how we have grown
- Outline future plans to better support people impacted by leaving faith, religious belief, high control groups, cults, and coercive control
- Provide an opportunity for questions, connection, and community involvement
New board positions: nominations now open (voluntary)
We are also excited to announce two newly created board positions. Volunteers who would like to be considered can nominate using the attached nomination form.
