Riyadh English Book Club - Meetup #2

And we’re off! Thanks to everyone who came to our first book club meetup - it was great to see such a thoughtful and curious group come together.

After some solid discussion and a few laughs, we’ve chosen Sun Tzu’s The Art of War as our first read. Don't worry if that isn't your style as we'll be cycling through different genres for each book.

To ease into it, we’ve decided to split things into two sessions:

📚 Saturday 26 July 10am – social meetup
A casual hangout centred around reading and books while we are still reading the chosen book — no specific reading is required for this meet up. Just come along, meet the group, and enjoy the conversation. Whether or not you made it to the first meeting, you’re welcome.

📖 Saturday 2 August 10am (date TBC) – Book discussion: The Art of War
We’ll dive into the text together and see what we make of it. Love it? Hate it? Think it's a timeless historical masterpiece or mundane and outdated? Whatever your views, this is the time to discuss.
Location: TBC - will be announced on Wednesday.
