We are thrilled to have Earo Wang speak in June.

Overview

Kunoichi is a female ninja, and xaringan is a presentation ninja. In this talk, I'll share some lessons and thoughts on how to give a technical talk like a kunoichi. I'll introduce you to the xaringan package and friends to generate stylish and engaging html slides in R Markdown (i.e. reproducible).

Bio

Earo Wang is a lecturer in statistics at the University of Auckland. She's interested in statistical computing and graphics, exploratory data analysis, reproducible research, and R. She moved to Auckland this year from Melbourne, where she earned her PhD degree at Monash University. She has been awarded the John M. Chambers Statistical Software Award in 2019 for the R package tsibble.
