"gganimate" is an R package that extends the grammar of graphics as implemented by "ggplot2" to include the description of animation.
You can see some examples here: https://github.com/thomasp85/gganimate

Let's welcome Rhetta Chappell the Data Analystics Web Developer for the Regional Innovation Data Lab (RIDL) at Griffith University. She will share with us a short introduction to the gganimate package and a few tips, tricks and examples from her journey into animated plots in R.
This is a short presentation, so get your questions ready! we will aim to get those answered.

If you want to use the packages from this presentation you can install them on the R console:

# install.packages("devtools)
install.packages("tidyverse")
devtools::install_github("thomasp85/gganimate")

We look forward to seeing you virtually, the zoom link will be shared with those who RSVP.
